COLD WORK TOOL STEEL FOR MOULD BASES
NORM: ISO 4957
APPLICATION:
Steel susceptible to dies, casting, plastic moulds large bending and cutting tools, anvils blocks, shredder knives, mould for coinings, cutting tools for thick steel semi-finished products, some tools for hot forming of the alloys that contains non-ferrous metals, shear knives for cutting billets and scrap, plastic moulds exposed to high pressures. It is suitable for surface texturing and electrolytic machining, rams, drop balls, shear blades etc.
